Connection Types: Advantages, Drawbacks, and Suggestions
Internet connections vary, and your choice shapes your gaming sessions. Fixed-line broadband, like Fibre-to-the-Cabinet (FTTC) or full-fibre (FTTP), is the top option available. It offers the greatest mix of high speed, low latency, and stability. I always select a fibre connection to play when I can, because it eliminates almost every variable that can interfere with a game. Cable broadband is another solid choice, offering reliable performance, though congestion during peak hours in some areas can sometimes impact it. The main plus of these wired connections is their reliability. They are much less susceptible to environmental interference than wireless signals.
