Literary Programming and Author Highlights
The reading side of things forms the scholarly core of the Book Fair Rest. We would gather a lineup of Canadian authors whose work links to space, exploration, light, and jewels. This includes celebrated sci-fi and fantasy writers, plus poets and graphic novelists who build strong visual narratives. A main stage would present author readings combined with short visual presentations of related game art or design concepts, establishing clear lines of inspiration between the two mediums. This cross-pollination is what imparts the event its special flavour.
