Roulette Feed Quality at 2 Mbps
Roulette turned out to be the biggest bandwidth consumer because the wheel motion demands a higher frame rate to avoid judder. At 2 Mbps, the stream occasionally became blocky into large blocks during rapid spins, but the ball landing was still clearly visible because the video codec prioritised the centre of the image. The betting grid loaded as a separate static overlay, so I could always place chips even if the video quality faltered momentarily. Audio remained clear, with the dealer’s voice arriving in sync, which let me track the game rhythm without constantly staring at the buffering icon.
