Learning the Collection Meter and Bomb Mechanics
This is the core core of Nitropolis 4. The Collection Meter, located above the reels with four animal heads, is your key to the features. It fills whenever Bomb symbols of the same animal colour land. Each Bomb collected contributes one segment to that animal’s meter. The crucial point for your strategy is this: Bombs only show up on reels 2, 3, 4, and 5. That fact directly affects my bet sizing. I require enough spins in my session for the averages to work and let those Bombs land and fill the meters. A bet that’s too high can erase my balance before the meter ever starts. You can’t force Bombs to appear, but recognizing their fixed reel positions allows me read the grid after each spin. When a meter reaches, that animal’s Free Spins feature starts on the very next spin. That expectation is key—every spin with a nearly full meter crackles with potential, and preparing for that shift is part of the excitement. Note that multiple Bombs can land on one spin, activating different meters at once. This can unleash an thrilling chain of features back-to-back, which is why possessing the bankroll to endure an initial dry spell is so important.
