People often forget the physical side. Pressing at high speed for hours can tire your wrists and fingers. Do some stretches and think about comfortable equipment. Mentally, practice maintaining your focus across a sequence of games, the length of a full tournament. Being able to shake off a bad round is as important as riding the momentum of a good one. The champion will have to compete consistently for hours, under bright lights and with everyone watching.
