Overlooking Correct Bankroll Management
Bankroll management is the dull foundation of extending play, and I ignored it completely. I’d routinely stake 5% or even 10% of my night’s budget on a single spin or hand. That’s a surefire way to go broke fast. The smarter method is unit betting: making one bet equal to a small, fixed slice of your bankroll, like 1% or 2%. This prolongs your playtime, aids you survive losing streaks, and lets you see objectively how you’re doing. My foolish staking turned what should have been an evening of fun into a five-minute disaster. This is the basic system I compel myself to use now:
