I had no guidelines. No maximum for a session, no ceiling on losses, no goal for a win. I’d just play until the money was depleted or I was too exhausted to see straight. Both are terrible reasons to stop. This meant I never secured profits and I never stopped my losses. It’s a guaranteed way to fizzle and burn through your cash.
