Primary Areas of Attention During Navigation
I observed for whether the site’s code gave my screen reader valuable information. Did it have well-defined headings? Did links work logically out of context? Were buttons and form fields correctly labelled? I also monitored if I could travel through the site in a structured order using the Tab key. A messy layout is frustrating for anyone, but if you’re moving by ear, it can block you completely.
