A strategic mistake is not understanding which modifier you need most. Snatching a new Collector when you already have a powerful one on the board may squander a spin. Sometimes what you really need is a Payer to increase values or a Necromancer to generate more special symbols. Learn to assess the grid after every spin. Avoid just hoping for any special symbol; look at the context of what’s already there.
