Summer Heat and Processor Load
During Finland’s warmer months, direct sunlight on a phone running the app pushes processor temperatures into throttling territory within 15 minutes. I measured surface temperatures reaching 42°C on a black device left in partial sun. This thermal stress degrades battery life and can cause the app to reduce frame rates to protect hardware. I always look for shade when playing outdoors in summer and close background apps to lessen combined heat from multiple processes.
