Basic Rules Explained
Blackjack, often known as 21, is an exhilarating card game that mixes skill and strategy. We commence by understanding the objective: to beat the dealer by getting a hand value closer to 21 without going over. Each player is dealt two cards, and we can choose to “hit” for additional cards or “stand” with our current total. Face cards are worth 10, while Aces can be 1 or 11, giving us flexibility. If we go over 21, we bust and lose the hand. It’s essential to remember that the dealer also follows specific rules, typically hitting until reaching 17. By mastering these basics, we set ourselves up for a exhilarating time at the table!
