Why has my multiplier dropped even though the board was not full?
Your multiplier features a underlying “activity timer”. If you wait too long in between good chain reactions (usually a couple of seconds), it will diminish and fall back to 1x. This prevents idle play. To sustain it, you must have consistent, intentional clears that sustain the activity and the grid evolving.
