I introduce another layer to my bankroll strategy by splitting it. I usually divide my total monthly budget into weekly chunks. This keeps me from trying to win back losses from one week with the next week’s money. If I blow through my weekly allocation, I pause and wait for the next cycle. That discipline is much easier than staring at a depleted budget. I also keep a basic log of my sessions, noting wins, losses, and what games I played. This isn’t about tracking every penny, but about recognizing patterns in my own behavior. Over weeks and months, this record reveals to me which games I actually like and do well at, so I can allocate my money more effectively.
